Richard Sherman was one of the best safeties in the NFL when he played. During his 11-year pro career, he enjoyed solid success with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sherman eventually earned himself the much-desired Super Bowl championship in 2014 when the Seattle Seahawks took on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 48. The now 37-year-old played a key part in Seattle’s Legion of Boom defense.
Since his retirement, the former NFL Pro Bowler has been making the rounds in the media as he continues to work for Amazon Prime as an analyst for the company’s “Thursday Night Football,” he does so quite well.
However, not all have been too positive for the “Thursday Night Football” analyst, and some recent posts on Sherman’s X account have been proof of just that, as the 37-year-old’s house was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

Sherman recently took to X to share photos and a video of three masked intruders entering his home. At least two of the intruders carried a firearm with them, as they can be seen making a run for it after exiting the house through a smashed window.

The Rookie’s Mindset: Navigating the Psychological Challenges of New Athletes
In this episode, we delve into the unique psychological challenges faced by new athletes. We explore the mental hurdles of transitioning from amateur to professional sports, the pressure of expectations, and the psychological strategies rookies can employ to thrive in their new environment.
“House being robbed at gun point with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” Sherman said in the post’s caption. “Scary situation that my Wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”
After all is said and done, we’re just thankful that no one was hurt. Obviously, the guys who did this need to be brought to just, and they no doubt will in due time. Karma always hit’s back, and we hope it does for these three.
