Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are finally honeymooning in South Africa after they exchanged vows in April 2023.
The superstar gymnast and the NFL safety completed their “first game drive,” which is a guided excursion through a wildlife reserve, as seen in a series of videos and photos on the couple’s Instagram Stories.
Biles said she “almost s–t myself” when as lion walked past their safari vehicle.

They also saw leopards, giraffes and zebras — and they posed for photos with an elephant.
Biles, 27, and Owens, 29, also enjoyed a couples massage and cocktails, as seen in other snapshots.
“Happy camper,” she captioned a selfie while dressed in safari gear.

It’s unclear why the couple decided to take their honeymoon two years after tying the knot.
The athletes had a busy year in 2024.
Biles secured four medals, including three gold, at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
Owens adjusted to a new team after signing a two-year deal with Chicago last March.

Biles and Owens tied the knot in at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston in April 2023, three years after they met on the Raya dating app.
They had a second wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in that May.
Owens supported Biles in Paris for the Summer Games and she attended a bunch of his games after she returned from Paris.
The NFL star previously explained that showing up for each other, especially in their respective careers, is key for the couple.

“When it comes from traveling to different events or coming to my football games, it makes [us] want to go out there and harder or you want to improve just because you know that your family is there supporting you,” Owens told The Post. “That’s just one thing that we always make sure to do with each other, because you do understand what each other goes through, and you know how hard it is when you’re a professional athlete.
“It’s been amazing… I wouldn’t want to do it any other way than with my wife, because we both understand each other and support each other fully.”
