Why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Reportedly Taking a ‘Break’ Right Now

To paraphrase Hayley Williams, it looks like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could really use a “break” right now — according to a new report.
The couple, whose relationship blossomed through Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour as well as two consecutive Super Bowls for Kelce, have traveled all over the world to support each other in their careers — all while navigating their beyond viral, A-list romance in a spotlight that never dims.
In a new report published by Us Weekly earlier this week, an insider told the outlet that Swift and Kelce, both 35, were looking forward to living a “normal life” following the December 2024 conclusion of the Eras Tour and the February 2025 conclusion of the Chiefs’ season.
As another insider commented, the power couple “needed time for themselves.”
“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love,” the insider pointed out. “They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
Their break, so far, has included low-key trips to Park City, Utah — where fans were thrilled to discover Swift and Kelce went largely under-the-radar — and Big Sky, Montana, where they reportedly dined with close friend and sportscaster Erin Andrews.
